Sarum Heights B&B is a large detached 1930's guest house set in an elevated position on Castle Road, ( A345), just minutes away from Old Sarum Castle.From our Bed & Breakfast you will have panoramic views of Salisbury, the Avon Valley and Old Sarum.We are located only 8 miles from Stonehenge and 1.5 miles from the centre of the historic Medieval City of Salisbury
Our B&B offers free private car parking, comfortable rooms, with modern en-suite or private facilities, free Wi-Fi in the rooms along with tea and coffee making facilities, and colour TVs. Families are welcome.
Sue's breakfasts are a wonderful start to the day, with full English breakfast, homemade bread and preserves, fresh fruit, and fresh coffee. Vegetarian options are of course available, and special diets can be catered for. Sarum Heights is a great place to stay if you are working in Salisbury, visiting friends or relatives, attending a wedding or conference, or coming to party. We are close to routes on the Wiltshire Cycleway, and cycle storage is available.
The accommodation is an ideal spot for visitors to Southern England, with easy access to London, Bath, Bournemouth and the beautiful Wiltshire countryside on the doorstep. Just a stone's throw away is Salisbury City centre, which is best explored on foot. Discover Salisbury Cathedral, museums, shops, great pubs and restaurants. Just a walk away is Old Sarum, and the river Avon. For hikers there are plenty of country footpaths in the locality, and it is possible to hike along the picturesque Woodford valley to Stonehenge.
Let Sue and Charles be your hosts and guides to Salisbury. We enjoy meeting and chatting with all our guests, and can advise you on what to see and do, as well as where to eat and drink. For travel-weary guests, a Harvester pub is conveniently located a few minutes walk away.
We are a non-smoking guest house, however the front terrace is available for guest use, and smoking is permitted here.
